Pike Hunt, Fish Fry/Potluck, Prizes!
You're invited September 26 & 27 to the 10th annual Headwaters TU Chapter Pike Hunt. We start Friday afternoon September 26 tying the Pike fly. Tying sessions 4:30-6pm or 6:30-8pm, you choose. There is a limit of 16 tyers per session. Pike Hunt starts Saturday, September 27 on any area lake from 8am-2pm. The Fish fry and potluck start at 4pm but please arrive by 2:30 so we can fillet and de-bone your fish.
Preregistration is required by September 15. The $45.00 fee will be collected at the fly tying sessions (Register Here) or you can send registration form and fee to Robert Wagner, 12745 Three Culverts Rd NE, Bemidji, MN 56601 and make checks out to Headwaters Chapter 642.
The fee includes: a commemorative Beanie, instruction and all materials to tie the pike fly, a place in a boat if you need one, a delicious pike fry/potluck, great camaraderie with old friends and meet new ones, a chance to win a prize (youngest participant, smallest pike, largest pike, best fish story of the day), plus gift certificates for the best potluck dish and best dessert! Who said we're not having FUN! Plus the big pike start biting the middle of September.
Remember either fill out google form on line or send registration. It is a potluck along with Fish Fry so bring a dish to pass plus spouse/family are welcome. We provide plates and silverware, water, soda, and a special Pike Porter or bring your own beverage. All profit from this event goes to support Headwaters Chapter 642 projects. Look forward to seeing you.
