About Us

As a non-profit organization, our mission is to restore cold-water fisheries and introduce youth and their families to the world of fishing.

Headwaters Chapter 642 of Trout Unlimited was established in 1993. As a non-profit organization, our mission is to restore cold-water fisheries and promote fishing to youth and their families. We are not just a fly fishing organization, as we also focus on the entire ecosystem. Our goal is to attract young people of all ages to the sport of fishing and to promote education as our primary theme.

To achieve our mission, we engage in various activities, such as providing information about fishing for all species, conducting ongoing programs for youth and the community, raising funds to support these programs, and offering hands-on fly-tying opportunities.
